What It Is

The ChefVentions LP-CXH is a single-piece collapsible food container made from food-grade silicone. It replaces traditional clasps with auto-aligning magnets that seal the lid instantly with one hand. The container is BPA-free and withstands temperatures from -4°F to 428°F, making it safe for dishwashers, fridges and microwaves.

The Deciding Spec

Capacity expands to 30oz and compresses to a 1.57-inch profile, saving 50% of storage space when folded. The magnetic seal is designed to stay airtight with liquids such as soup or milk, so the key test is whether that volume and leakproof claim match the portions you carry daily.

Who It Suits

Commuters, campers and office workers who want a leakproof box that disappears into a slim drawer or bag when empty will benefit. Buyers who need more storage than 30oz or prefer a rigid container that does not flex when packed should look at something else.

Questions about this item

How much food does the 30oz capacity actually hold when the container is expanded?

The expanded container holds 30oz, enough for a full lunch portion such as salad, sandwich, or soup, and the airtight magnetic seal keeps liquids from leaking.

What does the magnetic lid seal against and does it stay sealed in a bag?

Auto-aligning magnets create a clasp-free airtight seal that stays closed during transport, preventing spills even with liquids like milk or soup.

What clearance do I need in a drawer or bag for the collapsed 1.57in height?

When folded the container is 1.57in tall, so it fits in slim drawers, RV cabinets, or narrow backpack pockets without taking up extra space.
