Three-container set with strainer baskets

The ChefVentions R-8704 set includes three food-storage containers in a red finish, each supplied with a removable filterable basket. The baskets double as colanders for washing produce or draining cooked foods such as pasta. A silicone sealing ring and locking buckles on each lid create a sealed environment to reduce moisture loss.

Suited for home cooks who want wash-and-store

Buyers looking for an all-in-one solution to rinse, drain and refrigerate fruit, vegetables or meat will benefit from the integrated basket design. Households that require dishwasher-safe lids or microwave-safe components should consider alternatives, as the lids are not rated for either appliance.

Temperature resistance from -20 °C to 120 °C

The container bodies withstand a range of -20 °C to 120 °C, allowing use in freezers and with warm foods. The lids share the same temperature limits but must be kept out of dishwashers and microwaves.

Questions about this item

What temperature range does the container handle?

The container body withstands -20 °C to 120 °C, which is -4 °F to 248 °F, so it can move from freezer to hot water without warping.

What are the three components that must fit together?

Each unit has an outer box, a removable filter basket, and a lid with a silicone sealing ring and locking buckles; all three nest for storage.

How do you assemble it for the first use and what step is often missed?

Wash the box and basket with warm soapy water, seat the silicone ring into the lid groove, then snap the buckles — skipping the ring seat breaks the seal.
