What this bag is and who it's for

The ChefVentions Porter Bag is a 10 oz reusable food storage container made from a single piece of 100% food-grade silicone. It contains no chemicals, glues or adhesives and exceeds US food-grade standards. The bag is safe for dishwasher, microwave, freezer, oven and Insta-Pot use. A zipper closure and curved interior corners prevent mould build-up, while the clear front panel lets you see contents and mark dates.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This bag suits households that want to replace disposable plastic bags for snacks, sandwich halves, chopped produce or small non-food items such as makeup or wipes. It is not suited to buyers who need more storage volume than 10 oz, who prefer rigid containers that stack without support, or who require a vacuum-seal mechanism rather than a manual press-and-zip closure.

What to check before ordering

Confirm that the 10 oz flat format fits the shelf or drawer space you have available. Verify that your microwave, oven or Insta-Pot can accommodate a flexible silicone pouch of this size. Ensure you are comfortable turning the bag inside out for thorough cleaning or placing it on the top rack of a dishwasher.

Questions about this item

Does the 10 oz bag need any special container or tool to seal it?

No extra container or tool is required; the built-in zipper closes the bag by pressing air out and sliding the seal shut.

Can I keep using my plastic sandwich bags for some items while switching to this silicone bag for others?

Yes, the bag works independently and can replace disposable bags for snacks, half an onion, avocado or cheese without affecting any remaining plastic bags you still use.

How can I confirm the bag is sealed properly after I close the zipper?

Press the air out before sealing; a tight zipper closure and the clear front panel let you see that no gaps remain and contents stay fresh.
