Portable Fly Deterrent for Outdoor Meals

This four-pack of chemotex SZ-QY013 table-top fans creates a fly-free zone for picnics, BBQs and garden parties. Each unit runs on two AA batteries so there are no cables or sockets to manage. The foldable goose-neck lets you direct airflow 360 degrees around food and drinks. Soft blades stop instantly on contact for safe use around children and pets.

Battery Runtime and Coverage Limits

Power comes from two AA cells per fan, which are not supplied in the box, so operating time depends on the brand and capacity you choose. The airflow pattern is designed for tabletop protection rather than whole-patio coverage. Blades span 3.93 inches by 9.84 inches, giving a focused deterrent area suited to a single dining surface. Quiet operation keeps conversation easy but does not extend the protective radius.

EPA-Registered Repellent Device

The product carries EPA Establishment Number 95567-CHN-1, confirming it meets federal requirements for a pesticidal device. This registration is the single specification that distinguishes it from unregulated decorative fans. Buyers who need a compliant, battery-powered fly deterrent for food settings should verify this number; those wanting rechargeable power or wider-area control will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

How do I choose among the versions of the SZ-QY013 four-pack?

The listing shows a single black four-pack with holographic blades, 360-degree flexible goose-neck, and 2 AA battery power; no other versions are offered.

What does the 360-degree goose-neck mean when the fan is on the table?

You can bend each fan to any angle, point airflow where flies gather, then fold it flat for storage or hook it on a tent.

What does battery power cap in practice?

Each fan runs on 2 AA batteries (not included), so runtime depends on the cells you choose; there is no charging port or AC adapter.
