Reducing Socket Coupling for Schedule 80 Pipe

This Chemtrol 6501 coupling connects two 3/4-inch Schedule 80 pipes using female socket ends. It is made from red polyvinylidene fluoride for chemical resistance. The fitting includes a seal and carries a 1360 psi maximum operating pressure rating at 73 degrees Fahrenheit.

1360 psi Rating with 73 to 280 Degree Range

The coupling handles full Schedule 80 pressure demands up to 1360 psi at the lower end of its temperature range. As fluid temperature rises toward 280 degrees Fahrenheit, the allowable working pressure decreases. It is not suited for pressures above the rated maximum or temperatures outside the stated window.

Female Socket Ends with Included Seal

Both ends are female sockets sized for 3/4-inch Schedule 80 pipe, requiring solvent cement for a permanent joint. The supplied seal sits inside the socket to aid alignment and initial sealing. The 1 33/64-inch overall length adds minimal centre-to-centre distance between pipe runs.
