10-inch pneumatic test ball plug
The Cherne 262110 is a natural rubber pneumatic plug designed to seal pipes with an inside diameter between 9 and 10.25 inches. It fits a maximum pipe size of 10 inches and inflates via a standard tire valve for temporary line testing or isolation.
Male tire valve and 3-inch NPT bypass
Inflation uses a 1/4-inch male tire valve connection compatible with common air sources. A 3-inch female NPT bypass fitting allows fluid flow or pressure monitoring without removing the plug from the line.
13 psi maximum air back pressure
The plug withstands up to 13 psi of air back pressure when properly inflated inside a supported pipe. Exceeding this limit or using it in unsupported pipe configurations can cause the plug to dislodge.

Questions about this item
Will the natural rubber on the 262110 plug degrade and need replacement over time?
Natural rubber resists water and sewage but will eventually age; inspect the surface for cracking or loss of elasticity before each job and replace the plug if the texture feels brittle.
What pressure limit stops the 10 in pneumatic test ball from holding during a long air test?
The plug is rated for a maximum back pressure of 13 psi air; sustained pressure above that value will cause the seal to fail first.
Does the tire-valve air connection on the Cherne 262110 leak or heat up during all-day inflation?
The male tire-valve fitting is a simple mechanical seal; it does not generate heat and leaks only if the valve core is loose or the rubber seat is damaged.
