Sealed keyboard for clinical use

The Cherry EZClean KC1000 ships with a fitted silicone cover that seals the entire key deck, allowing the surface to be wiped with standard medical disinfectants without liquid ingress. A USB 2.0 cable provides a simple wired link to any host computer, and the 104-key US QWERTY layout includes dedicated calculator, email, sleep and browser hot keys. No assembly is required; the unit weighs 1.58 lb and measures 18.19" wide by 6.85" deep by .75" high.

Check USB port and mounting space

Verify that the target system has a free USB Type-A port for the 2.0 connection, as no wireless or PS/2 option is supplied. Confirm the desk or cart shelf can accommodate the 18.19" width and 6.85" depth, and that the .75" profile clears any overhead monitor arms or privacy screens. The cable is fixed, so plan the routing path before final placement.

Suits shared clinical workstations.

This model fits nurses, technicians and lab staff who need a sealed, wipe-down surface on mobile carts, triage stations or patient-room terminals. Buyers who want per-key mechanical switches, programmable macros, RGB lighting, wireless freedom or a compact tenkeyless form factor should look at other product lines.
