XXL Desk Mat for Keyboard and Mouse

The Cherry JA-0510 mouse pad measures 31.50 inches by 13.78 inches, covering a wide desktop area for both keyboard and mouse. Its smooth fabric surface is designed for precise tracking with all sensor types, including low-DPI models. The 0.20-inch thickness adds a comfortable cushion for long work or gaming sessions. A non-slip rubberised base keeps the mat firmly in place during use.

Sewn Edges and Water-Resistant Surface

Stitched edges prevent the fabric from fraying over time, extending the lifespan of the mat. The water-resistant top layer allows quick cleaning with a dry or damp cloth without damaging the material. Flexible construction lets the pad be rolled up for transport or storage without creasing. These features maintain a consistent glide and appearance through daily use.

Limits of a Cloth Surface

Cloth pads absorb skin oils and dust, which gradually increase friction and reduce tracking consistency until cleaned. The 5 mm foam compresses under heavy wrist pressure, changing the feel compared to a hard pad. Rubber bases can grip textured desks but may slide on polished glass or lacquered surfaces. Rolling the mat for storage can leave temporary curled edges that need flattening.

Questions about this item

Will the sewn edges eventually fray and need replacement?

The edges are sewn with thread specifically to counteract fraying, extending the pad's usable life.

Does the 5 mm thickness compress permanently after months of daily keyboard and mouse use?

The 5 mm rubberised base is designed to remain flexible and durable, resisting permanent compression under sustained use.

Does the rubberised underside emit any odour or become sticky when the pad sits on a desk all day?

The water-resistant surface can be wiped clean with a dry or damp cloth, and the rubberised bottom stays non-slip without becoming tacky.
