Cherry MX Board 3.0 S Wired Keyboard

The Cherry MX Board 3.0 S is a wired mechanical keyboard built with genuine Cherry MX Silent Red switches. It serves gamers and office users who want a quiet linear feel without losing the precise actuation that Cherry switches are known for. The textured aluminum housing and screw-in metal legs keep the board rigid and prevent it from sliding during intense sessions.

Wired miniUSB B connection limits

The keyboard connects through a detachable miniUSB B cable, so it requires a compatible port and cannot be used wirelessly. Cable length is fixed by the supplied lead, and the miniUSB B interface does not support the higher bandwidth or power delivery of newer USB standards. Users needing a Type-C or wireless link will have to choose a different model.

Cherry MX Silent Red switches decide fit

The defining specification is the Cherry MX Silent Red switch, which uses patented damping to cut actuation noise while keeping a smooth linear stroke. If you prefer a tactile bump, an audible click, or a heavier spring weight, this switch type will not match your preference. Buyers who want a different feel should look for a board with another switch variant.
