Compact TKL Gaming Keyboard

The CHERRY Stream TKL is a wired USB keyboard without a numeric keypad, designed for users who want a smaller desktop footprint. Its tenkeyless layout places the mouse closer to the typing area for a more natural arm position during gaming or work sessions.

Sustained Typing and Gaming Behaviour

CHERRY SX scissor switches provide a precise pressure point and whisper-quiet operation that remains consistent during extended use. The integrated metal plate adds rigidity, preventing flex when keys are pressed repeatedly, while abrasion-resistant lettering stays legible after heavy daily typing.

Installation and Common Issues

Plug the USB-A connector into any free port and the keyboard works immediately without extra software. The two rubberised fold-out feet adjust the typing angle and stop the board from sliding. Buyers who need a dedicated number pad or wireless connectivity should consider a different model.

Questions about this item

How loud are the CHERRY SX scissor switches when I type all day?

The switches are described as whisper-quiet, and the keyboard carries the GS mark for tested safety, so noise stays low even during long sessions.

Does the USB-A cable plug straight into my PC, or do I need a separate hub or adapter?

It connects via a single USB-A cable with no extra hub, adapter or driver required for basic operation.

Will the compact 377 mm width and 19 function keys still let me use my existing macro software and media controls?

The six dedicated multimedia keys handle media playback directly, while standard USB HID support lets your current macro software recognise every key press.
