Chicago-Latrobe 46631 Cobalt Jobber Drill Bit

This cobalt jobber drill bit measures 31/64 inch and carries model number 46631. The 135 degree split point design helps reduce walking on hard materials. It suits maintenance teams and machinists who need reliable hole-making in tough alloys.

Check shank fit and machine capacity before ordering

Verify that your drill chuck accepts a straight shank of this diameter. Confirm the workpiece material matches cobalt cutting performance. Ensure your equipment can run at speeds appropriate for a .4844 decimal equivalent hole.

Suited for high-heat drilling in stainless

The cobalt construction resists heat buildup during extended cuts in abrasive metals. Shops drilling softer materials like aluminium or plastic will not benefit from the added cost. Buyers needing coolant-through capability or a different point angle should select another bit.
