Chicago-Latrobe 49916 60 pc Jobber Drill Set

The Chicago-Latrobe 49916 set contains 60 jobber-length drill bits made from high-speed steel with a 118-degree point angle. The bright, uncoated finish suits general-purpose drilling in metal, wood and plastic. It is intended for workshops and maintenance teams that need a broad range of standard sizes in one package.

Build quality and daily use

High-speed steel construction resists heat and wear during repeated drilling cycles. The 118-degree point centres quickly without a pilot hole, reducing walk on flat surfaces. Bright finish bits require lubrication in tougher alloys to prevent galling. Buyers who need coated bits for extended life in stainless steel or high-volume production should look elsewhere.
