Chicago-Latrobe 53450 Drill Bit

This 25/32 inch drill bit is designed for metalworking tasks requiring a large diameter hole. It suits maintenance professionals and fabricators who need a durable cutting tool for tough materials. The cobalt construction provides resistance to heat and wear during demanding operations.

Reduced Shank Fits Standard Chucks

The 1/2 inch reduced shank allows this large-diameter bit to be secured in a standard drill chuck. This design eliminates the need for a specialty large-capacity chuck or adapter. It frees up the user to operate the bit with common handheld or stationary drilling equipment.

Cobalt Holds Edge Under Heat

The machining cobalt material maintains hardness at elevated temperatures generated during sustained drilling. The straw bronze finish assists with chip evacuation and reduces friction during deep cuts. The 118 degree point angle delivers consistent centering and cutting action throughout the drilling cycle.
