Product Identity

The Chicago Metallic 42756 Mini Crown Muffin Pan is a silver aluminised-steel baking pan designed for high-volume mini-muffin production. It measures 25 7/8 in long by 17 7/8 in wide with a 1 1/8 in depth and contains 35 individual 3 oz crown-shaped cups formed from 26-gauge metal.

Ideal Users

This pan suits commercial kitchens, catering operations or serious home bakers who need to produce large batches of uniform mini muffins or cupcakes in a single oven load. Bakers who only make occasional small batches or who require dishwasher-safe or freezer-safe bakeware should look at alternative pans.

Installation Notes

The pan is ready to use after a simple hand wash; no assembly or special tools are required. Because it is not dishwasher safe, the main risk is damage from harsh detergents or high-temperature wash cycles, so hand washing with mild soap is essential to maintain the aluminised surface.

Questions about this item

What oven rack width do I need to fit the 17 7/8 in pan?

Your oven rack must be at least 17 7/8 in wide to accommodate the pan's overall width.

Can I bake standard muffin batter in the 35 mini crown cups?

Yes, each cup holds 3 oz so standard batter works; fill each cavity about two-thirds full for even rise.

How do I know the aluminized steel is heating evenly after pre-heating?

Check that the silver surface shows a uniform golden hue across all 35 cups with no dark or pale spots.
