Sub Sandwich Roll Pan 17 3/4 in

This half-size aluminized steel pan holds five sub rolls in a single tray. It is built for commercial kitchens and serious home bakers who need consistent crust and shape on every roll.

Aluminized steel limits

The 16-gauge metal conducts heat evenly but is not non-stick and must be greased or lined before each use. It is not dishwasher safe and cannot go in the freezer, so cleaning and storage require manual handling.

Simple placement, watch for warping

The pan sits directly on an oven rack with no assembly needed. Thin aluminized steel can warp under sudden temperature changes, so preheat gradually and avoid thermal shock to keep the slots level.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 5-slot half-size pan or a different capacity for sub rolls?

The 49014 is a half-size sub sandwich roll pan with five slots, each shaped for a single roll, so choose it when you need to bake five rolls at once.

How does the 16-gauge aluminized steel perform in a hot oven?

At 16 gauge the aluminized steel conducts heat evenly across the 17 3/4-inch square surface, browning roll bottoms without warping in standard oven temperatures.

Is the pan compatible with standard half-size sheet-pan racks and ovens?

Yes, the 17 3/4-inch square footprint matches the common half-size sheet-pan standard, so it fits commercial racks and most home ovens without overhang.
