Air-powered ratchet with 5 in extended anvil delivers 27 ft-lb torque at 270 RPM for general-duty fastening
This Chicago Pneumatic air ratchet wrench features a 5 in extended anvil for reaching fasteners in tight spaces. It delivers a free speed of 270 RPM and a fastening torque of 27 ft-lb. The tool weighs 1.1 lb and operates at a consistent air pressure of 90 psi. It is designed for general duty automotive and maintenance tasks.
This model replaces shorter standard ratchets when the extended anvil provides necessary reach without sacrificing the compact 5 in overall length. The jump is worth it when accessing recessed bolts or working around obstructions prevents a standard anvil from engaging the fastener properly. Side exhaust directs air away from the work area during operation.
This ratchet suits mechanics and technicians who need a lightweight, air-powered tool for general fastening at 27 ft-lb torque. It is not for heavy-duty applications requiring higher torque output or impact mechanisms. Buyers needing a 1/2 in drive size or significantly higher free speed should look at a different tool class.
