Pistol-grip air screwdriver

The Chicago Pneumatic CP2611 is a pistol-grip air screwdriver built for industrial assembly. It accepts 1/4-inch hex drive bits and delivers a maximum torque of 7.5 ft-lb. A precision shut-off clutch stops the tool at the set torque to protect fasteners. Free speed reaches 1,000 RPM for efficient cycle times.

Assembly technicians and maintenance crews

This tool suits technicians who need repeatable torque control on production lines or in maintenance bays. Operators without a compressed-air supply capable of 90 psi and 21.0 CFM at full load should look at electric alternatives. Buyers needing higher torque ranges or angle-body access will require a different model.

Precision shut-off clutch

The defining specification is the precision shut-off clutch that halts rotation once the target torque is reached. This feature prevents over-tightening and ensures consistent joint quality on every fastener. The clutch operates across a soft-draw range of 8.9 to 66 in-lb.
