Extension Column 6-9 Inch

The Chief Manufacturing CMS006009 is a black extension column that adjusts from six to nine inches in one-inch increments. It uses a 1.5-inch NPT thread on both ends and includes a set screw for added stability. The knurled design allows height changes without disassembly. It supports a weight capacity of 500 lbs.

Installers Needing Fine Height Control

This column suits installers who need precise projector positioning in one-inch steps and a secure lock via the included set screw. It works with any Chief 1.5-inch NPT ceiling plate or accessory. Builders requiring a longer drop or a different thread size should look at other options.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous load the column relies on the 1.5-inch NPT threads and set screw to maintain position without slipping. The 500 lbs weight capacity rating applies to static loading over time. The knurled adjustment mechanism remains accessible for re-levelling if the structure settles.
