Adjustable Extension Column 60-84 in

The Chief Manufacturing CMS0507 is an adjustable extension column designed to lower a projector to the required mounting height. It suits installers and AV integrators who need flexible drop lengths for ceiling-mounted projection systems in commercial or education spaces.

Installation notes and common issues

The column connects to any 1 1/2 inch NPT accessory using the CMS Speed-Connect system for straightforward attachment. Ensure the existing mount structure can support the combined weight and that the NPT threads match; mismatched pipe threads are the most frequent cause of fitment problems.

500 lb maximum load capacity

This extension column is rated for a maximum load of 500 lb, which determines whether it can safely support the intended projector and mount assembly. The adjustable length ranges from 60 to 84 inches with a 2.3 inch square profile, finished in black.
