Portable Car Heater Fan

This 12V ceramic heater plugs into a cigarette lighter socket and delivers both warm air and natural wind through three adjustable outlets. A 360-degree rotating base lets the driver direct airflow at the windscreen, side windows or mirrors. It draws 150W and is intended for defogging and defrosting only. The unit must be switched off after 10 minutes of continuous use.

Build integration and clearances

The heater requires a standard 12V accessory outlet and a flat dashboard or console surface for its swivel base. No wiring, brackets or permanent mounting are needed, so installation takes seconds and leaves the vehicle interior unchanged. Because it runs from the lighter socket, it frees the main climate system from clearing frost during the first minutes of a journey.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Drivers who need rapid windscreen clearing on cold mornings will find the dual-mode fan and heater convenient. Buyers wanting continuous cabin heating, automatic climate control integration or a permanently installed auxiliary heater should consider a different solution. The 10-minute duty cycle also makes it unsuitable for long-distance defrosting without pauses.
