Universal Foot Mount for DirecTV Slimline Dish

This foot mount provides a stable base for DirecTV Slimline HD dish antennas on pitched roofs. It accepts a 2-inch diameter pole and stands 12 inches tall with a 6 by 9 inch mounting footprint. Integrated pitch adjustment keeps the mast vertical on roof slopes from 0 to 45 degrees. Pitch pads are included to seal the mast-to-base joint against moisture.

Installers fitting Slimline dishes on standard

Suited for professional or DIY satellite installations where the roof pitch falls within the 0 to 45 degree range. The universal design accommodates the specific pole diameter used by DirecTV Slimline hardware. Not intended for vertical wall mounting or for roofs with a pitch of 46 degrees or greater, as the adjustment mechanism cannot maintain a 90-degree pole angle beyond that limit.

Straightforward roof mounting

The base fastens to the roof structure using the 6 by 9 inch footprint, and the pitch pads seat between the mast and base to act as a caulking barrier. Common issues arise when the roof angle exceeds 45 degrees, preventing the mast from reaching a true vertical position. Ensure the mounting surface is solid and the pitch is verified before drilling to avoid alignment problems.

Questions about this item

What roof pitch range does this 2-inch pole foot mount support to keep the mast at 90 degrees?

The mount works on roof pitches from 0 to 45 degrees, keeping the 2-inch pole vertical at 90 degrees; it does not work on side walls or roofs with 46 degrees or more pitch.

Do the included pitch pads seal between the 12-inch mast and the 6x9-inch base?

Yes, the pitch pads sit between the mast and the 6x9-inch base, acting as a caulking layer that prevents moisture penetration.

After installation, how can I verify the 2-inch pole is correctly vertical on my roof?

Use a level on the 12-inch pole; when the bubble centres, the mount has compensated for the roof pitch and the pole stands at 90 degrees.
