Ready-to-deploy Windows 11 Pro mini PC

The Chip PC CUBEX 12 WCX12551W arrives with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, an Intel Core i5-1240P processor, 512 GB solid-state storage and 16 GB of memory. It includes a power supply and offers four USB 3.1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two HDMI outputs, one Mini DisplayPort and one full-function USB Type-C port. Wifi 6 and RoHS compliance are also specified.

Suited for managed fleets.

Organisations that standardise on a single Windows image and value the included Wifi 6 connectivity will benefit from the four USB 3.1 ports and three native video outputs for multi-monitor desks. Buyers who need more than 512 GB of internal capacity or who require user-serviceable storage bays should consider a different platform.

512 GB fixed solid-state capacity

The single 512 GB drive determines how much data and how many applications can reside on the device without external storage. Verify that this capacity matches the intended workload before purchase.

Questions about this item

What peripherals do I need to add to this barebone to have a working Windows 11 Pro desktop?

You must supply your own display, keyboard and mouse because the unit ships without them; it includes the CPU, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, Windows 11 Pro licence and power supply.

Can I keep using my older USB 2.0 devices with the four USB 3.1 and two USB 2.0 ports on this mini PC?

Yes, the two USB 2.0 ports accept legacy devices directly, and the four USB 3.1 ports are backward-compatible with USB 2.0 peripherals.

How can I verify the CUBEX 12 is running correctly after first power-on?

Windows 11 Pro should boot to the desktop, the Wi-Fi 6 radio will appear in Settings, and both HDMI outputs plus the Mini DP and USB-C video ports can drive active displays.
