Wireless Gaming Keyboard for PC and Console

The CHONCHOW G221e is a mechanical gaming keyboard with a 2.4 GHz wireless link and a 2500 mAh rechargeable battery. It ships with a USB receiver for plug-and-play use on Windows PCs, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and laptops. RGB backlighting offers three brightness levels and breathing effects for low-light gaming.

Check USB Port and Console Compatibility

Verify that your device has a free USB-A port for the 2.4 GHz dongle. Console support depends on the individual game’s own settings, so confirm compatibility before buying. A 5 V 2 A charger is required for the included cable; the keyboard enters sleep after five minutes of inactivity and wakes on any key press.

Plastic Build with Arc Keycaps and Foldable Feet

The chassis is plastic with Arc keycaps, a stepped layout and foldable feet for an ergonomic typing angle. Crater-switch keys deliver a mechanical feel while the integrated palm rest supports long sessions. A dedicated charging cable is included and the receiver stores inside the keyboard for transport.

Questions about this item

Does the CHONCHOW G221e come with a charging cable or do I need to buy one separately?

A dedicated charging cable is included in the box, so you do not need to purchase one separately. The keyboard uses an inbuilt 2500mAh battery and does not require disposable cells.

Which switch type does the G221e use and is there an alternative version?

The G221e uses mechanical crater-switch keys with Arc keycaps. The specifications list only this single configuration, so no alternative switch type or capacity is offered.

What does the 10 metre 2.4 GHz range mean when I am gaming at my desk?

The 2.4 GHz wireless link works up to 10 metres with no perceptible delay, giving wired-like response while you sit at your desk or play from the sofa.
