STEM kit for ages eight to fourteen

This kit contains two separate projects: a Bluetooth speaker and an FM radio. It is designed for children and teens aged eight through fourteen who enjoy hands-on electronics and woodworking. Each project comes in its own package with illustrated instructions. A small Phillips screwdriver is the only tool required.

Wooden enclosure and audio modules

The speaker and radio are built around wooden boards that measure one inch on each side and weigh point four five kilograms. The FM module automatically scans the 88 to 108 megahertz band for clear reception. Assembling the circuits teaches basic soldering-free wiring and speaker driver mounting. The finished units sit on a desk or shelf without additional hardware.

Creative customisation and family activity

The unfinished wood surfaces can be painted or decorated after assembly, turning each build into a personal craft piece. Parents can assist younger builders, turning the session into a shared learning experience. The completed speaker pairs wirelessly with phones or tablets for music playback. The radio operates independently once batteries are inserted.
