Compact wired networking with simultaneous charging

This USB-C adapter adds a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port and a USB-C power-delivery pass-through so a laptop, tablet or phone can stay online and charge from one socket. Plug-and-play operation means no drivers are required on supported devices. The aluminium housing keeps the dongle cool during extended use.

Suits users who need reliable wired access

Travellers, remote workers and gamers who suffer from unstable Wi-Fi will benefit from the steady 100 Mbps link. Devices without a USB-C connector or those requiring gigabit throughput should consider a different solution. The adapter does not add extra data ports or video output.

Maximum wired speed is 100 Mbps

The Ethernet controller negotiates at 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps full-duplex, so the connection will not exceed that rate. If your internet plan or local network runs faster, this adapter will become the bottleneck. Check your required throughput before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the RJ45 port on this adapter ever need cleaning or replacement after long-term use?

The RJ45 port is a passive connector with no moving parts; keeping it free of dust and debris is the only maintenance it requires.

What is the maximum sustained network speed the Ethernet port can deliver?

The adapter supports up to 100 Mbps wired Ethernet throughput, which is the limiting factor during continuous data transfers.

Does the adapter become noticeably warm when charging and networking run together all day?

The unit draws power for both Ethernet and pass-through charging, so some warmth during extended combined use is normal.
