Chrosziel 402-26 Foldable Top French Flag

The Chrosziel 402-26 is a foldable top French flag designed for camera operators using compatible Chrosziel MatteBoxes and SunShades. It mounts on the top of the unit to block unwanted light from entering the lens and causing flare. The accessory is adjustable and can be easily removed during setup changes.

36cm flag with folding mechanism

At 36cm (14.2 inches) wide, the flag provides a broad surface to shield the lens from overhead light sources. It folds in half to reduce its profile for transport and storage between shoots. The adjustable design allows the user to position the flag precisely for the current lighting conditions.

Compatibility with CLWAH-43 CWAH-1FC SD 411 SD 421

This flag is built specifically for the CLWAH-43, CWAH-1FC, SD 411, and SD 421 MatteBoxes and SunShades. It will not mount on other brands or incompatible Chrosziel models. Buyers with different matte box systems cannot use this accessory.

Questions about this item

Will this 402-26 flag fit my existing CWAH-1FC matte box?

Yes, the 402-26 is listed as compatible with the CWAH-1FC matte box and sunshade models.

How do I know the 36cm flag is blocking light correctly once mounted?

Look through the viewfinder; the top French flag should cut flare from overhead sources without vignetting the frame corners.

Does the box include mounting hardware or just the foldable 14.2 inch flag itself?

The flag mounts directly to compatible Chrosziel matte boxes using their existing top rails; no separate hardware is included.
