Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 Siberian Strike DLC

This downloadable content expands Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 with a new Siberian campaign. The add-on introduces open-world mission design where players navigate without guidance. It requires the base game on Steam and a Steam account for activation. The product key delivers the DLC directly to your library.

For owners of the base game seeking new missions

Players who already own Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 on Steam and want additional single-player content will gain a fresh setting and mechanics. Buyers without the base game cannot use this DLC. Users in blocked regions including Russia, China, Japan, Korea, Ukraine and others listed in the specifications cannot activate the code. Shoppers wanting a standalone title should look elsewhere.

Steam DRM and base game dependency

Activation uses Steam DRM and the code only works when Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 is present in the same Steam account. The blocked country list contains specific codes that prevent redemption in those territories. Minimum system requirements include Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, a 2 GHz dual-core processor, 2 GB RAM, 9 GB disk space and a video card equivalent to an 8800GT with 512 MB VRAM.

Questions about this item

Will the DLC need a new download if I reinstall the base game later?

The DLC is delivered as a Steam download, so reinstalling the base game will require downloading the DLC again through your Steam library.

What hardware limit is reached first when running the new Siberian maps at minimum specs?

The 2 GB memory minimum and 512 MB video memory on the 8800-class card are the first constraints encountered in the new open Siberian location.

How much extra power draw or heat should I expect when the DLC runs all day?

The DLC runs on the same engine as the base game, so power draw and heat stay within the original minimum requirements of a Core 2 Duo or Athlon X2 system.
