Direct thermal label printer with USB, serial and LAN interfaces, 203 dpi resolution, 4.65 inch roll width and up to 354.3 inches per minute print speed, includes cutter
The Citizen CL-S521II is a direct thermal label printer built for high-volume shipping, logistics and retail environments. It prints at 203 dpi on rolls up to 4.65 inches wide and reaches speeds of 354.3 inches per minute. Integrated USB, serial and LAN interfaces plus a built-in cutter suit standalone or networked workflows.
Direct thermal technology eliminates ribbons and toner so the only consumable is the label roll itself. The mechanism runs quietly during continuous batch printing and the cutter operates with a soft mechanical action. Power draw stays modest because there is no fuser or heating element beyond the print head. The 10 kg chassis remains stable on a bench without vibration.

Connect the printer via USB, Serial, or LAN, load a 4.65 in roll, and install the driver before sending print jobs — skipping the driver install is the common error.
The direct thermal printhead at 203 dpi wears with use; clean it regularly and replace it when print quality fades, and replace the cutter blade if cuts become ragged.
