Large 51-inch square coverage

The CLCROBD splat mat measures 51 inches by 51 inches and is made from 100% polyester with a laminated waterproof layer. It is lead free, PVC free, BPA free and non-toxic, making it safe for babies and young children. Reinforced stitching adds durability and the mat is machine washable with hang-dry care.

Wipe-clean surface and anti-slip backing

Spills and food stains wipe away with a damp cloth while the waterproof coating protects floors, tables and carpets. Silicone anti-slip spots on the reverse keep the mat in place on hardwood or carpet and prevent bunching under a high chair. The lightweight design at 1.3 pounds makes it easy to move and shake out between uses.

Foldable for travel and multi-use play

The mat folds compactly for storage and transport, serving as a picnic blanket, painting drop cloth or tablecloth for arts and crafts. It frees up cleaning time by containing messes in one area and works on a variety of indoor and outdoor surfaces. Buyers who need a smaller footprint or a fitted high-chair tray liner will find this oversized square unsuitable.

Questions about this item

How do I lay the 51" square mat so the anti-slip silicone spots actually grip the floor?

Unfold the 51" x 51" polyester sheet with the printed dinosaur side facing up and the silicone-spotted backing flat against the floor; smooth out any wrinkles by hand before placing the high chair so the spots make full contact and prevent bunching.

What cleaning routine keeps the waterproof laminated layer working after repeated food spills?

Wipe fresh messes with a damp cloth; when stains build up, machine wash the 1.3 lb mat on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and hang it to dry — the reinforced stitching and lead-free, PVC-free laminate tolerate repeated washing without delaminating.

At what point does the thin .399 kg polyester fabric start to show wear from chair legs and daily foot traffic?

The single-layer laminated construction resists punctures and abrasion for typical mealtime use, but concentrated pressure from high-chair feet or sharp toys will eventually thin the 100% polyester surface faster than a multi-layer vinyl mat would.
