Questions about this item

Does the CLESCO F2SS-UH-100 bearing require a specific shaft size or housing bore to install?

The bearing uses UHMW-PE material pressed into a stainless steel shell, so the shaft and housing must match the bearing's specific inner and outer diameter dimensions for proper press-fit installation.

Can this UHMW-PE bearing operate directly against older steel shafting without accelerated wear?

UHMW-PE is self-lubricating and has a low coefficient of friction, allowing it to run smoothly against steel shafts with minimal wear compared to metal-on-metal contact.

How can I verify the CLESCO F2SS-UH-100 is seated correctly after pressing it into the housing?

After installation, the bearing should sit flush with the housing face, rotate freely by hand without binding, and show an even gap around the shaft indicating concentric alignment.
