This Cleveland C00613 set contains 45 pieces covering unified coarse, fine and special thread series from 1/4 inch up to 1 inch. It supplies both hand taps and matching round dies for maintenance, repair and light production threading tasks.

High-speed steel construction under load

The taps and dies are made from high-speed steel, which retains hardness during extended cutting cycles better than carbon steel. This allows the tools to maintain thread accuracy when multiple holes or external threads are cut in succession without frequent re-sharpening.

Thread range limits

The largest dies in the set reach 1 inch diameter with 8 and 14 threads per inch, while the smallest cover 1/4 inch at 20 and 28 threads per inch. Work requiring threads larger than 1 inch or finer than 28 threads per inch falls outside the supplied range.
