Pilot counterbore accessory

The Cleveland C46548 is a pilot designed for use with counterbore cutters in power and pneumatic tool setups. It suits machinists and maintenance technicians who need precise hole alignment in workshop or field repairs.

7/32 inch pilot diameter

The pilot measures 0.125 inch in diameter with an overall length of 1.375 inch. This size handles alignment for corresponding counterbore tools but will not fit larger cutter bores or heavier drilling rigs requiring bigger pilots.

High-speed steel bright finish

Constructed from high-speed steel with a bright uncoated surface, the pilot resists wear during repetitive drilling cycles. The smooth finish reduces friction in the tool holder, allowing quick changes without binding or corrosion buildup.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.125" diameter pilot fit the counterbore I already use with 7/32" tooling?

The 0.125" diameter pilot is designed for 7/32" counterbore tooling, so it matches that standard size directly.

How can I confirm the bright high-speed steel pilot is cutting correctly once installed?

Check for clean, chatter-free holes with consistent depth and a smooth finish on the counterbore seat.

Does the C46548 package include the counterbore cutter or only the pilot?

This item is the pilot only; the counterbore cutter must be purchased separately.
