Adjustable HSS round die cuts M10×1.5 right-hand threads with a 25.40 mm outside diameter and 9.52 mm thickness
This Cleveland Golf C65824 die cuts M10 × 1.5 metric threads in a single pass. The round die measures 25.40 mm outside diameter and 9.52 mm thick for standard die-stock fit. High-speed steel construction resists wear when threading mild steel and similar materials. Right-hand thread direction suits the majority of fastener applications.
High-speed steel retains hardness at the temperatures generated by hand or low-speed machine threading. Cutting fluid reduces friction and keeps the die cool during extended cuts. No external power source is required; the tool is driven by a manual die stock or compatible power tapper. Uncoated bright finish allows lubricant to cling evenly across the cutting faces.
The die ships as a single piece with no additional taps, guides or lubricant in the package. Users must supply a suitable die stock or holder matched to the 25.40 mm outside diameter. Proper alignment and steady pressure prevent chipped threads and extend die life. Adjustable design permits slight diameter compensation for fit-class requirements.

Insert the die with the marked side facing out, tighten the stock screws evenly, then use the adjustment screw to set the thread fit before cutting; skipping the pre-adjustment produces oversize threads.
Clean chips from the flutes after each job, apply light machine oil to prevent rust, and resharpen or replace the die when the 1.50 mm pitch threads show rounding or require excessive force.
Heat buildup in the high speed steel causes the cutting edges to lose hardness fastest, so pause frequently and use cutting fluid to delay wear on the 9.52 mm thick die body.
