Cobalt end mill with TiCN coating cuts stainless steel, titanium and high-tensile alloys up to 55 HrC
The Cleveland Golf Cobalt End Mill is a four-flute, single-end cutter with TiCN coating. It is designed for peripheral milling on cobalt, nickel, austenitic alloys, stainless steel and titanium alloys. The tool suits general-purpose machining where workpieces reach 40 to 55 HrC hardness.
The cutter uses a 3/8 inch fractional-inch shank and diameter. This restricts use to tool holders and collets that accept that exact size. The 30-degree helix angle and right-hand cutting direction are fixed by the design, so the tool cannot be adapted for left-hand operations or different helix requirements.
The length of cut is 3/4 inch within an overall length of 2-1/2 inches. This provides adequate engagement for shallow pockets and peripheral passes on the listed materials. Deeper cavities or full-slot cuts beyond the flute length will require a longer tool or multiple setups.

The four-flute design with TiCN coating suits peripheral milling on cobalt, nickel, austenitic alloys, high-tensile steels between 40 and 55 HrC, stainless steel and titanium alloys.
A 30-degree helix gives a balanced rake for moderate chip loads, helping clear material without excessive tool deflection in the listed steel and alloy groups.
TiCN raises hardness and heat resistance versus uncoated cobalt, letting you run higher surface speeds on the specified alloys while reducing built-up edge.
