12 mm cobalt jobber drill with 135° split point to NAS 907, 151 mm overall length and 101 mm flute
The Cleveland Golf Jobber Drill is a 12 mm cobalt steel cutting tool built to National Aerospace Standards 907 Type J. Its 135-degree split point reduces wandering and starts holes cleanly in hard alloys. The straw-bronze finish identifies the heavy-duty grade and resists wear during repetitive drilling.
Machinists drilling stainless steel, titanium or high-strength alloys will benefit from the cobalt substrate and split-point geometry. Shops that mainly work mild steel, wood or plastic do not need this grade and can choose a less expensive high-speed steel bit instead.
The straight 12 mm shank fits three-jaw chucks and collets without adapters. Right-hand spiral flutes eject chips efficiently when the correct feed and speed are applied. Running the drill too fast or without lubrication in tough metals is the most common cause of premature edge wear.

The bit has a 12.00mm shank diameter, so you need a chuck that opens to at least 12mm or ½ inch capacity to grip it securely.
Yes, the 135° split point and right-hand cutting direction work in standard drill presses and hand drills that accept a 12mm shank, just like your existing HSS bits.
The flute length measures 101.00mm and the overall length is 151.00mm, matching the NAS 907 Type J dimensions for a 12.00mm jobber drill.
