Intended users and limits

Maintenance teams and OEM assemblers who need a single-split collar for shaft mounting will find this part suitable. Buyers who require a two-piece split design, a different bore size, or a specific material certification not listed here should look elsewhere.

Decisive specification

The one-piece clamp style is the defining attribute that determines whether this collar fits the application. California Proposition 65 notices indicate the presence of chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

What shaft diameter must I already have for the 1C-225-A clamping collar to fit?

The 1C-225-A is a one-piece clamping collar; you need a shaft that matches its bore size so the single split can close evenly around it.

Will the transparent finish on this collar clash with older metal hardware I keep in the same assembly?

The collar is listed as transparent, so it will not introduce a contrasting metal colour when mounted alongside existing steel or aluminium components.

How can I confirm the 1C-225-A is seated correctly after I tighten the clamp?

After tightening, the collar should sit flush on the shaft with the gap fully closed and no visible wobble when the assembly is rotated by hand.
