What it is

This Climax Metal Products 1C-243-Z One-Piece Clamping Collar is a new power-transmission component. It arrives in a transparent finish and is listed under sports memorabilia and collectibles. The item ships directly from the manufacturer.

Sustained use

The collar is built for bearing and V-belt systems where consistent clamping force matters. California Proposition 65 notices indicate the product contains chemicals known to the state to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Buyers should factor this into long-term handling and installation plans.

Before ordering

Check that your application can accept a one-piece clamping collar in the 1C-243-Z configuration. Verify that the transparent material suits the environment and that the Proposition 65 warnings are acceptable for your workspace. Orders of $75 or more ship free from the manufacturer.

Questions about this item

Does the Climax Metal Products 1C-243-Z clamping collar generate heat or noise when installed on a shaft?

As a passive metal collar it has no moving parts, so it produces no noise or heat during operation.

What shaft diameter does the 1C-243-Z require to function correctly?

The 1C-243-Z is designed for a specific bore size that must match your shaft; verify the exact diameter before ordering.

Will this 1C-243-Z collar work with older imperial-dimension shafts I already own?

Compatibility depends on the collar's bore matching your shaft's outer diameter; check both measurements to confirm fit.
