Collectible clamping collar for display

The Climax Metal Products 1C-256-A is a new one-piece clamping collar presented as a sports memorabilia collectible. It carries the manufacturer branding and a transparent finish. The item is supplied directly from the manufacturer.

Suits collectors of industrial hardware pieces

This piece fits enthusiasts who collect branded power-transmission components or Climax Metal Products memorabilia. It is not for buyers who need a functional collar for shaft mounting or power-transmission assembly. It also does not suit anyone seeking a sealed bearing or V-belt kit.

Check display space and regulatory notices

Verify that you have a suitable display area for a transparent metal collar. Note the California Proposition 65 warnings for cancer and reproductive harm. Orders of 75 or more ship free from the manufacturer.

Questions about this item

What shaft diameter must I already have for the 1C-256-A clamping collar to fit?

The 1C-256-A one-piece clamping collar is designed for a 256 shaft size, so the shaft you own must match that dimension for proper clamping.

Will the transparent finish of this collar show wear differently than older metal collars I keep in service?

The transparent coating on the 1C-256-A is a surface treatment; it will not change the mechanical fit with older hardware, but visual wear may be more noticeable than on bare metal collars.

How can I confirm the 1C-256-A is seated correctly after installation?

After tightening the single clamp screw, the collar should sit flush against the shaft shoulder with no axial play and the screw head fully engaged in the recessed slot.
