Two-Piece Clamping Collar

The Climax Metal Products 2C-037-A-KW is a two-piece clamping collar listed under sports memorabilia and collectibles. It is supplied new and identified by the manufacturer part number 2C-037-A-KW. The item is categorised as bearings, V-belts and power transmission equipment with a transparent finish.

Installation and common issues

The two-piece design allows the collar to be fitted around a shaft without removing mounted components. Correct torque on the clamping screws is essential to prevent slippage or damage to the shaft surface. California Proposition 65 warnings indicate the product contains chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Behaviour under sustained load

As a mechanical fastening component, the collar maintains its grip through friction and clamping force during continuous operation. Long-term reliability depends on proper initial installation and periodic inspection of screw tightness. The product ships directly from the manufacturer and orders of 75 or more qualify for free shipping.
