Questions about this item

What sustained-use limit appears first with this two-piece clamping collar?

The collar is rated for continuous clamping force without a published duty-cycle limit, so the first practical limit is the shaft material yield point rather than the collar itself.

How much heat or noise does the 2C-218-Z generate when clamped all day?

It produces no measurable heat or noise because it has no moving parts and relies on static friction from the two-piece screw clamp.

Which shaft diameter must I already own for this collar to fit?

The model number 218 indicates the collar is manufactured for a specific shaft size; verify the matching diameter before ordering.
