Questions about this item

Does the 2C-268-S two-piece clamping collar generate heat or noise during continuous operation?

The collar is a passive mechanical fastener with no moving parts, so it produces no heat and no audible noise under load.

What shaft size must I already have for the 2C-268-S to clamp correctly?

The collar is designed for a 268 mm shaft diameter; the shaft must match that dimension for proper grip.

Can the 2C-268-S be used alongside older steel shafting without galvanic corrosion?

The transparent finish indicates a non-metallic material, so it will not create a galvanic cell with existing steel shafts.
