The Climax Metal Products C-256-S is a set screw collar supplied new for industrial power transmission assemblies. It functions as a positional stop or bearing lock on shafts and carries a Proposition 65 notice for chemical exposure.

For Maintenance Teams Not For Lightweight Builds

Maintenance teams securing components on shafts will find this collar suitable. Buyers who need a different bore size or a clamping style collar should look at other options because this model uses a set screw fixing method.

Proposition 65 Chemical Warning Applies

California Proposition 65 requires disclosure that this product contains a chemical known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. The number 65 refers to the regulation and 256 appears in the model designation C-256-S.
