Climax Two-Piece Clamping Collar Double Wide

This Climax Metal Products D2C-012-S is a two-piece clamping collar designed for sports memorabilia and collectibles enthusiasts. The transparent finish presents a clean appearance suitable for display purposes. It arrives in new condition directly from the manufacturer.

Sustained display stability

The two-piece construction allows installation without disassembling adjacent components on a shaft or rod. The double-wide profile distributes clamping force across a broader surface area. This design resists loosening under continuous vibration or repeated handling typical of collectible mounts.

Pre-purchase checks

Verify that the shaft or mounting rod diameter matches the collar's bore specification before ordering. Confirm that the transparent material is compatible with any cleaning agents or environmental conditions in your display area. Note the California Proposition 65 warning regarding chemical exposure.

Questions about this item

Does the two-piece clamping collar generate noticeable heat or noise during continuous operation?

The collar is a passive mechanical component with no moving parts, so it produces no heat or noise regardless of how long it runs.

What shaft size must I already have for the D2C-012-S to clamp correctly?

The model suffix 012 indicates a 12 mm bore, so the shaft you install it on must be 12 mm in diameter.

Will this double-wide collar fit alongside older single-width collars on the same shaft?

Yes, the D2C-012-S shares the same 12 mm bore and two-piece clamping design, allowing it to sit next to legacy collars without alignment issues.
