Questions about this item

How much heat does the D2C-100-S generate when clamping continuously?

The collar is a passive mechanical component with no moving parts or electrical load, so it produces no measurable heat during operation.

What shaft size must I already have for the D2C-100-S to fit?

This double-wide two-piece collar is designed for a 100 mm shaft; verify your shaft diameter matches before installation.

Will the transparent finish on the D2C-100-S react with older steel shafts I keep in stock?

The transparent coating is chemically inert and will not corrode or gall against standard carbon or alloy steel shafts.
