Collector Focus

Collectors who want an authentic CLIMAX METAL PRODUCTS piece in unused condition will find this item suitable. Buyers who need a functional clamping collar for bearings, V-belts or power-transmission equipment should look elsewhere because the listing categorises the product as memorabilia.

Proposition 65 Notice

California Proposition 65 warnings apply: the product contains a chemical known to the state to cause cancer and a chemical known to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. This disclosure is the decisive factor for purchasers concerned about material safety regulations.

Questions about this item

How do I install the H1C-156-S clamping collar without damaging the recessed surface?

Tighten the single clamp screw evenly until the collar grips the shaft firmly; the step often missed is checking that the recessed face sits flush before final torque.

What maintenance will the H1C-156-S need over time?

Inspect the clamp screw and recessed bore periodically for wear or corrosion; relighten if vibration loosens the joint.

What limit appears first on the H1C-156-S during sustained operation?

The clamp screw reaches its holding limit before the collar body yields, so monitor for slip under continuous load.
