Metric One-Piece Clamping Collar

The Climax Metal Products M1C-54-S is a metric one-piece clamping collar designed for shaft attachment in power-transmission assemblies. It suits maintenance engineers and machine builders who need a secure, single-piece locking component for metric shafts.

California Proposition 65 compliance

This product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for exposure to a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Buyers requiring documented substance compliance or restriction-of-hazardous-substances certification should verify suitability before specifying this collar.

Transparent finish and shaft fit

The transparent finish allows visual inspection of the clamp interface and shaft contact without disassembly. It comfortably handles standard metric shaft diameters within the collar's bore range, while applications demanding a split two-piece design or a different bore size will need an alternative clamping solution.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 54 mm bore or a different size?

The M1C-54-S is offered with a 54 mm bore; select it when your shaft measures 54 mm, otherwise choose the collar matching your shaft diameter.

How does the 54 mm bore perform once installed on a shaft?

The one-piece clamp distributes even pressure around the 54 mm shaft, giving a secure, mar-free hold without keyways or set-screw damage.

What does the Proposition 65 warning mean for daily handling?

The warning indicates the collar contains a substance listed under California Proposition 65; wash hands after handling and avoid ingestion or prolonged skin contact.
