Metric Two-Piece Clamping Collar

The Climax Metal Products M2C-19-S is a metric two-piece clamping collar designed for shaft mounting in power transmission assemblies. It suits maintenance engineers and equipment builders who need a split fastening solution that installs without removing other components from the shaft.

Shaft Diameter and Chemical Warning

Verify that the shaft diameter matches the 19 mm metric bore before ordering. The product carries a California Proposition 65 notice for chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm, so review local handling requirements.

Split Design for Retrofit Builds

The two-piece construction clamps around an existing shaft, freeing you from sliding parts off the end during installation or service. It needs only basic hand tools for tightening and works alongside standard bearings, V-belts and other transmission hardware in the same assembly.

Questions about this item

Does the M2C-19-S Metric Two-Piece Clamping Collar ship with mounting screws or must they be purchased separately?

The supplier description lists only the collar itself; no mounting screws or other accessories are mentioned.

Only the single 19 mm metric size is shown in the product data, so there are no alternate versions to select.

What does the 19 mm bore diameter mean when the collar is installed on a shaft?

The 19 mm bore fits a 19 mm metric shaft, and the two-piece design clamps around it without requiring disassembly of adjacent components.
