Metric Set Screw Collar MC-25-S

The Climax Metal Products MC-25-S is a metric set screw collar designed for power transmission assemblies. It suits maintenance engineers and machinery builders who need a reliable shaft fastening component. The transparent finish allows visual inspection of the contact area. This item is supplied new from the manufacturer.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that your shaft diameter matches the 25 mm bore implied by the model designation. Confirm the set screw thread pitch aligns with your existing hardware. Ensure the collar width fits the available axial space on the shaft. Review the Proposition 65 notices if your workplace tracks regulated substances.

Replaces worn or missing collars

This collar replaces a damaged or lost metric set screw collar in the same size class. The upgrade is worth it when the original part shows thread wear, corrosion or deformation that compromises clamping force. A new collar restores secure shaft location without replacing the entire assembly.
