Metric Set Screw Collar MC-34-S

The Climax Metal Products MC-34-S is a metric set screw collar supplied new for industrial power-transmission assemblies. It functions as a positional stop or spacer on shafts and is categorised alongside bearings and V-belts for maintenance and repair operations.

Transparent finish identifies the collar

The collar is supplied in a transparent colour, which allows visual confirmation of the set-screw engagement and shaft contact during installation. This single visual trait helps technicians verify correct seating without removing the component.

Suited for maintenance crews needing metric collars

Maintenance teams requiring a metric set-screw collar with a clear finish will find this part fits the requirement. Buyers who need a different bore size, a clamping-style collar or a material not listed here should look at other options.

Questions about this item

What does the MC-34-S designation tell me about this collar once it is installed on a shaft?

The MC-34-S is a metric set-screw collar designed to clamp onto a shaft and hold components in position.

Which interface standard does the set-screw locking method follow, and what does that limit in practice?

The collar uses a standard metric set-screw thread; the screw size caps the maximum torque you can apply before the thread strips.

What physical dimensions must the shaft and mounting space meet for the MC-34-S to fit?

The collar is made for a metric shaft matching the 34 size code; the bore and outer diameter must match that shaft and the available radial clearance.
