This rigid shaft coupling joins two shafts with a 7/8 in bore diameter and a 3/16 in keyway width. The one-piece steel construction uses a set screw sized 5/16 in -18 for secure fastening. It suits maintenance and assembly tasks where precise alignment is required.

Set Screw and Keyway Limits

The single set screw and keyway transmit torque through direct contact, so concentricity depends on shaft tolerance and screw seating. Over-tightening can mar the shaft surface, while under-tightening allows slip under reversing loads. The 1.75 in outside diameter bounds the envelope for adjacent components.

Coupling Capacity and Headroom
